Please join us the first Saturday evening
of every month when the art galleries in town extend their usual
business hours from 5:30pm to 8:30pm. The lights stay on and
the music plays as the gallery's fill with locals, as well as
visitors to meet the featured artist's and view their work.
Gallery Walks are a favorite here in Port Townsend. Occuring
the first Saturday of every month, galleries and venues in the
downtown waterfront district show off the work of local artists.
Informal and enticing, the Gallery Walks encourage exploring
the many nooks and crannies of the town's historic center. The
walks are sponsored by the many galleries and venues, and a
consortium of artists. A truly unique happening and all you
do is show up downtown and start walking!
Passiko
True
Passiko has been creating jewelry for the past 30 years. Her
work is sold in galleries across the U.S. and occasionally at
juried art shows in Washington.
Mainly self taught, she has added to her skills by taking classes
at the Pratt Fine Arts Center in Seattle. Inspired by Eastern
thought and tradition, her work has an Asian flair.
Passiko lives in Indianola Washington where the quiet and beauty
of nature nourishes her creativity. She has been on the boards
of the Seattle Metals Guild and the Best of the Northwest.
By combining pearls and sterling silver, her new Girlie Pearlie
collection is fun to wear. The East Meets West collection uses
sterling silver, bent sterling tubing and hand blown furnace
beads in a whimsical manner.
